If you're looking, then chances
are you know all about Blythe. This doll was made only
in 1972. Her body is smaller than Barbie's, and she has an
oversized head to accomodate eyes that change colors at the
tug of a string - blue, green, pink and orange. I am
obligated to tell buyers about any flaws or defects, so here
goes: She has thick, dark hair except in one patch on the top
right side of her head; and she has a few blemishes on her leg
and buttock and dirty feet. The dress is original, with a
label, but someone seems to have added black yarn ties at the
waist and back of the neck. She doesn't have the odd printing
on her back that I have seen on some dolls listed on eBay - I
don't know what that's about. The eye mechanism works
perfectly. I hate like hell to part with her - she was my
absolute favorite doll as a kid, and she is my absolute
favorite doll now - but I need the money. Buyer pays
S&H. Thanks for looking and good luck! :)

information:
I have had a number of inquiries about my doll. To
clarify, she is a brunette, and I was mistaken about her
missing hair. It seems I have it parted incorrectly, and that
she is missing only one plug, on the left side, front, right
beside her part.
